Hetalia seemed to popularize the 5 minute anime episode (although they did exist beforehand)
Recorder to Randsell has 3 minutes per episode.
Shiba Inuko-san will apparently have 2
I am predicting in 2 more years we are going to see some 30 second anime, and the opening will be longer than the actual episode.
